Who/What/Where

​

The Doughdough was founded by Alex after years of baking for friends, family and flatmates who encouraged her to finally start a business, come up with a punny name and sell some cakes already. At The Doughdough we specialise in macarons and celebration cakes made to order - as well as a delicious range of pastries and patisserie. Everything is freshly made from scratch at our 5* rated kitchen based in Forest Row, East Sussex. You can find our products at local markets and cafes or we can also deliver to your door. We believe tasty, baked foods (especially macarons) deserve a place in everyone's lives so please get in touch if you have absolutely any requests or requirements, we'd be happy to help and we love a challenge.

Sustainability

At The Doughdough, we try and be as conscious as possible when sourcing ingredients; buying local and seasonal wherever possible and using only the freshest organic free-range eggs and dairy produce. We’re lucky to be surrounded by some great farms so this is easily done. We’ll also try and make everything from scratch if we can and love experimenting with homemade food colourings and flavourings.
